Homemade Tortillas

Soft, fluffy homemade tortillas are easier to make than you think! Whip up a batch of these delightful tortillas for your next taco night or as a delicious wrap for your favorite fillings.


3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup warm water

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
Add vegetable oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
Divide the dough into small balls and let them rest for 15 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Roll out each dough ball into a thin circle.
Cook each tortilla in the hot skillet for about 1 minute on each side or until lightly browned.
Serve warm and enjoy!
